i did this as a gift to my friend, Kayla.

basically, she wanted me to draw her a couple, holding hands. she also wanted me to dress the guy in a polo shirt, but i decided to ignore that since a) i cant draw polo shirts and b) it took all i had just to make him look semi-normal, as opposed to the totally punked-out weird looking guys i normally draw. like the pants took me a long time, cuz i dont usually draw super-baggy jeans. so even now they still arent that bggy, cuz i couldnt get them riight >.< and i had to make his shirt fitted cuz i dont know how to do anything else >.<
in the end, i think he looks kinda feminine. his shoulders are too narrow and hes too thin >.<
also i dont really like the way the girl's shirt turned out, just cuz im not used to drawing clothes like these. oh well. its something new.
however, i REALLY like the way the hairs turned out, and the hand [other than the one in her pocket] cuz it took me a while to make the "holding hands" thing look right.
and i know the background is lazy, but i didnt have much space to work with, so i just did something simple...

the lyrics are from the song Shimmy SHimmy Quarter Turn by Hellogoodbye. i threw them in there simply cuz i happened to be listening to the song and thought, "oh, that kinda fits!"
